Hey folks,

I’m listening to “Delina Did It” for the first time and right now I’m hearing the last few seconds of the song for the first time. It has ~clearly~ blown my socks off already and here I am barefoot again, wondering if anyone could give me some info about the track.

Who sings it?
What is it about - - - fairies?
Who wrote it?
Who produced it?
Who sings on it?
Who plays the cello?
Where can I find it?
Is the opening sample Carl Sagan musing about astrometaphysics?
Can anyone decipher the vocals, or do you think they’re perhaps meant to be undecipherable?

I know you no longer like the forum and prefer FB but I still prefer this place to ask things
I heard that you might pop out a vinyl version of Vaccine?
That would be great! Both for music and the art! I have a collection of vinyls hanging on my wall and Vaccine is waiting… I’ve already bought the frame…

Younger Brother Flock of Bleeps like stuff

hey guys, I love A Flock of Bleeps, not so much the second album, haven’t heard the third…

Could anyone make some recommendations as to what other artists should I look into that would bring similar listening experience?

Also, I am working on a film, it’s sci-fi psychological thriller, have the set getting built, got around 30 member team putting the production together, got about 30 actors that will be in it, think Hanibal Lecter(character() meets Cube meets Saw… with his hands tied he still easily convinces you it’s a good idea to rip your face off X 4 meaning there is four of them in the cubicle…

Anyway, I wonder if someone could get in touch with me about how would I go about getting in touch with Younger Brother to get them possibly to provide all new or mixed old and new soundtrack for this feature film?

Vaccine remix news?

Anyone heard any news on the Vaccine remixed tracks Benji and Si were doing?

There for awhile on the Younger Brother Facebook page they were talking about it, saying they were remixing Vaccine with a more full electronic style.

YB Studio Workshop (pledge)

Hi all,

as we say in Holland: “het duurt ff maar dan heb je ook wat”. My YB studio workshop happened last nov. At 12 noon I arrived at the studio and Matt, another pledger, was also there. There was supposed to be a third guy, also from NL, but that day many flight were cancelled due to bad weather. I’d flown in the eve before so lucky!

Benji’s studio was pretty cool, with lots of vintage and not-so-vintage stuff. Since I’m into producing, that was very much my cuppa. Benji set out creating a dub track to demonstrate techniques and the creative process. Simon joined in later and played some guitar riffs. All in all I did learn quite a few tricks, and also what tools I need to do it. As a result of it all, I’ve since gotten all the NI stuff (Komplete), an electric guitar and the UAD2 dsp card for my cubase rig. You were right Benji, that 1176 compressor sounds great

As the afternoon progressed, so did the track and Matt played a very nice riff on Benji’s iPad with some funky Moog synth app. Best of all, I got all the tracks to continue to work on back home (which I’m doing as we speak)! I made a few shorts recordings that I’ll uoload if anyones interested.

A very enjoyable day, and thank you very much Benji and Simon, you were great hosts and very friendly in sharing music and otherwise

Anyway hopefully when people do a search of it Younger Brother will come up in the search results, thereby increasing their exposure.
