Hi Friends!

Shpongle Box Set don’t seems to come out in this year (it has been promised more than a year now).

It would be cool if you can update us… not necessary an exact date, but a possible release date would be nice.

I planned to buy it but if I have to wait so long then I would order the 3 cd.

So please Twisted, Simon.. give us some light for us..

When I have the money, I suppose I’ll just buy the third album on its own (and re-buy Hallucinogen albums that have since been stolen) and say goodbye to owning the box set.

All the news says is “More news on Shpongle 28th October. ”

does this mean that the box set came and went without notice?

I believe he was speaking of the post:

“It was confirmed today that there is to be no Shpongle boxset to wrap up the Shpongle story…as the Shpongle tale is set to continue with a fourth studio album possibly completed late this year for release early in 2008. more details when we have them.”

Good to know.  Now I will soon pop the cherry (for me at least) on the 3rd album!

“early in 2008”... Yeah right. Like we never heard that one before.

Shpongle music’s second to none, but their communication sucks big time. What about not announcing a release eons from now? What are the odds they’ll meet those high expectations they’re building up by doing so? Like based on some recent “boxset” experience, for example…

Maybe it’s just been a bad day and I shouldn’t be so negative, but I can’t help but being more disappointed about the definite fumble on the box than excited about some distant future release.
