[quote author=“radioactivesandwich”]This whole fighting over which album is better and agree disagree is crazy. the whole point of shpongle is that its anything and everything you want it to be, but no matter what its good! each album is different, i dont think you can say that one is better than the other, they all have their own feel and are all amazing.
shpongle is meant to be a personal experience, a group experience, more than just music. you should take shpongle for what it is, some of the best music you can find, no matter what the album or track name, or length or style.
i think simon and raja would want all of us to just enjoy it for being great music and an expression of their thoughts. i think we should just all accept that they are all good, and that sure, some people might like one or two over the other, but thats what makes people different, personal preference, and shpongle is able to cater to everyones perference by being great music. sorry for the rant,
thanks
Slice One (and i hope slice two would agree with me as well, haha)
I totally agree with this also, maybe it’s a simple fact that some are missing that they’re doing the 4th album due to the love which everyone has for the project and instead of pulling the plug giving that bit extra back to the fans? Of course there will always be the negative side of thought which say ‘ah milking it’ but I think SP & Raj have alot more about them than to do it for the sake of it. They wouldn’t if they thought it was going to go down hill - they are not sell out people.
If you look at all the posts regarding the Shpongle project there’s alot of passion and emotion there i.e. samples, which is the best track etc. Everyone was pretty gutted a few months back at the thought of no more albums so I think maybe staying tight lipped and enjoying the ride is the best stance - for me anyway
And yes I can appriciate the Hallucinogen 3 problem but that’s the way it goes for the mo. SP did say he was prefering working with others for the time being. :D
PHEW!!!
