I caught a glimpse of one of the new tracks at the Younger Brother gig at the Roxy.
A voice singing something about “Shpongleland”. Care to elaborate?  :D

I think its great that these artists are giving fans more of what they want.  I would be happy with or without new Shpongle as long as the rest of the Twisted records crew continues to put out good tracks.  Like The Zap, seriously fantastic shit going on there.  i look forward to all their releases.

Great to hear a new album is underway.  I love the name ‘Ineffable myseries of Shpongleland’, I think of a colourful, dreamy land like I hope the title was meant to mean.  I would like the album to include more songs like ‘Dorset Perception’ and perhaps keep the pace up throughout the album, very curious to hear what you are up to!

Yep The Zap! is good, but it was released under Raja Ram’s label TIP World.

Great to hear some feedback on the new tracks, the Indian sample one is awesome and so were the others.

The one with the guy playing the steel drum was truly beautiful and went great with the vocal track of the mask talking before it.  That tougher one rocked the place and the one with Michelle and Abigail singing on it was well nice too.

Hopefully one day we’ll see a double cd of all the unrealesd tracks from each of the albums…respect. :D

I for one have never really been the kind of person to eagerly anticipate the release of an album… up till now actually. :D

Shpongle is uniquely special in that you guys are able to combine so many different forms of music with such hypnotizing rhythms and beats. Iv been listening to ur albums for years and each time i listen to a track i feel/hear something different.

So im very interested in what this 4th album might deliver.

Has anybody been able to figure out what the singing in the middle is?

Wellllllll….. It’s finished!!    This friday, we put all the finishing touches to the tracks…. remixed I am You (sorry turboguard - the phone conversation never made it! it was just too distracting…. hope you like the new version - i do
We are mastering it on Monday…shit….gotta get up early! .... Also we have to decide the running order this weekend… got a fair idea… but my favourite track (Invisible Man i think it’s called… it’ll probably always be “the cello one” to me!) is proving tricky to place… a bit melancholy for an opener… but a strange atmosphere for mid-album? we’ll see…
Overall I’m really pleased… some of it seems to show a new maturity - such a vast pool of influences… musically and emotionally: being in love.. the darker side… pain of separation… celebration of life…and death (of the ego) It all seems to show up somewhere on the album… life has been quite a ride recently, so it’s not surprising really…
