Tisk tisk :x We were asked to vote whether or not we wanted a new album not to bash and attack others who vote differently which is not only foolish and a waste of time but discourages others from expressing their views thus crippling entire voting system.

On the matter of another Hallucinogen album… I’d enjoy another one but if Simon likes what hes doing now he should do that, he seems to know what hes doing.

I would say yes to a new album naturally. But I can’t vote :cry:

me too, i missed this thread from a while ago.
of course i’d love simon to do a new hallucinogen album, yet i can see the point of view that it is quite cool to just leave that project as it is, you cannot improve upon perfection so why bother trying. the important thing to me is that mr posford continues to make music, be it with benji, raja, ott etc or by himself.
just don’t stop creating and play a little more often in England and I’ll be happy!

I’d like to see a range of tempos and moods, almost like a cross between Hallucinogen and Shpongle. We all know he has the production techniques down to a fine art now, so anything is possible.

You know the 4/4 bit at the end of Molecular Superstructure? I’m imagining something like that

Also you might remember there was the ‘hidden’ ambient track (Angelic Particles) at the end of Twisted, so I’m hoping there’ll be some nice epic bits in there too, just to keep things interesting (and so he can show off, haha)

Would I be shot if I said I wanted an ambient Hallucinogen album, full of songs like “E” and “The Herb Garden”?

I wouldn’t mind, but he could call it a different project. But I wouldn’t mind another Hallucinogen - In Dub (Mixed by Ott) album. I really hope that Hallucinogen3 will be fast and hard, even if it’s the same bass rythm, as long as it’s good, like Deranger, Gamma Goblins, LSD or any of the older songs, I just don’t want it too Shpongle-like, since Halluci is Halluci and Shpongle is Shpongle.

no album ever made could ever top the lone deranger. that beeing said, all good things come in threes. (in dub is not a hallucinogen album in my eyes/ears)

Hallucinogen is in need of another album because it gives Simon a different outlet into his music than Shpongle.  It is almost more psychedelic because of the way he processes each sound/sample into the mix to create a multi-dimensional interconnected sound orbule, as is the characteristic of Hallucinogen

Hmmm although it would be quite nice to add to the hallucinogen collection, I really love the noises made whist ‘mucking about’ with others, and you get the best of it all, Simon, Benji, The Bays, its all very good - hallucinogen was great but I think it might get boring making music on your own - what am I saying? more Younger Brother already.
