Has anyone here been to both Ozora and Glade? I’ve only been to Glade so far, and am going again this year. Im convinced its by far the best festie in UK and one of the best in the world, but am v interested in scoping out some other fests aswell, like Ozora. What should I expect in relation to the glade? Bigger/smaller? As ‘special’ an atmosphere? I was looking on youtube at vids from Ozora 06 and it looked a lot smaller and possibly slightly more tame than glade. Espesh as Tristan was playing and ppl didnt seem to be going as mad to his beats as I would have been! But you cant tell from a video anyway…
first hand comparison anyone? What other festie’s might I be interested in if I like (love) Glade?
cheers.

i haven’t been to glade, but since i live in hungary, i always go to ozora.. believe me dear Sirdropsalot, it is worth coming here   maybe not so much people as in the glade, (approximately 3-4000 people in ozora) but the venue is far too beautiful and the whole event is really happy to miss it=) and people do go crazy during the sets, you can dance until you die of fatigue…=)
see you there hehehe

is anyone else coming? or maybe you’ve been there last year and can give me some advice?
we’re coming with my friend and are planning to live in a tent so we won’t book a hotel..
it will be our first international fest so we’d be grateful for any advice - considering food, showers etc :D

sophieee, for sure you must know - as i understood, the fest site is near a village or small city called Ozora? how far is it? of course we can’t bring everything with us, so we can buy anything at that place? or for example some food is cooked directly at the partyplace?

and maybe some things like how much does it cost to get to the place from Budapest and travel to the Balaton lake (it’s not far away so we’d like to see it)

anyway it would be the best to meet someone and come together

hey kicha!
just to answer some of your questions:
yes, the fest is near a village of ozora, but the closest town is simontornya. that’s more than walking distance away. but of course there will be food and drinks on the site and as the years b4 we are still keeping prices low - 1.5 - 2

heeey bubble!
thanks very much for the feedback, seems like everything is clear now smile
we’ve checked out the schedules and i think i saw info about shuttle buses from Simontornya somwhere.. we want to spend some time in Budapest so won’t be travelling to the place directly from the airport
and the prices on food and drinks look very nice raspberry
now we only got to sort the things out with the visa, book the flights and wait… see you all!  8)
