see the thing is, and i mean this with loads of respect for simon and benji, but im actually slightly beginning to lose interest. its not that the wait is annoying me, but from a fan’s perspective, looking forward to a new release is usually something enjoyable, whereas in this case, its kinda becoming old. Im sure the circumstances are reasonable and I know they are perfectionists. But from when i first heard about the new album to now, my outlook has shifted enormously, especially after watching them in Brixton and thinking hmmm this is interesting, but i wonder when they are gonna play more upbeat yb stuff…? I think the album will be good, and take it in a new direction, but instead of looking forward to it and jumping off the edge of my seat, im now thinking- oh well, there’s this summers festies and other releases to look forward to instead.
anyways, a little disappointed, but im sure it’l still be good. best of luck guys.
