[quote author=“sirdropsalot”]see the thing is, and i mean this with loads of respect for simon and benji, but im actually slightly beginning to lose interest. its not that the wait is annoying me, but from a fan’s perspective, looking forward to a new release is usually something enjoyable, whereas in this case, its kinda becoming old. Im sure the circumstances are reasonable and I know they are perfectionists. But from when i first heard about the new album to now, my outlook has shifted enormously, especially after watching them in Brixton and thinking hmmm this is interesting, but i wonder when they are gonna play more upbeat yb stuff…? I think the album will be good, and take it in a new direction, but instead of looking forward to it and jumping off the edge of my seat, im now thinking- oh well, there’s this summers festies and other releases to look forward to instead.
anyways, a little disappointed, but im sure it’l still be good. best of luck guys.
Three, six, nine month delays, as most fans know, are common with Twisted and their release dates should always be taken with a bucket full of salt. I always add a good 4 or 5 months onto their release dates to help avoid disappointment but thankfully their stuff is so good it’s invariably worth the wait no matter how long. Besides, there’s plenty of good music to listen to in the meantime - least if you avoid trance music there is.
