IM are one of the most talanted bands in psytrance history IMHO.But as Stoned Junglist said the newest albums are very dissapointing.
The only good thing I see in their new albums is that they can easily attract new people to the psytrance music…

My previous post said that my mate said it was well hard, one of my other mates bought it and said he had only listened to it once.  He suggested I listen first so I had a quick skip and decided to copy it.

By the time it got to track 3 I had to force myself not to turn it off.  It’s one of the worst albums I’ve heard and is just ‘cheese’, I’m not sure what their thinking of but I also had to force myself not to throw the copy out.  All the other albums are quality. :cry:

listened to the album once, and I had it pre-ordered. Am listening to Halluci, YB and Prometheus mostly now.

Agree also but I guess if we were on the Im site we would be in the minority - just a thought but I’ve never been on it.  They’ll have a massive following now. :D

i dont think the lectric guitars sound very good in the context theyve used them in
for me, hands down, the best thing theyve done is the other side…

I am once in a while on the site, but I think there are a few old-timer fans who don’t like the new stuff, and a bunch that are getting used to it, and some that like some songs, and some that love it… I don’t even get to listening to it, till I like it (like I sometimes do). I like their older stuff, Classical Mushroom, The Gathering and BP Empire ...mainly.

Am too busy listening to Hallucinogen 1000 times and YB and Prometheus :twisted:

i tried THREE times to listen to this Vicious stuff but never got further than the fourth of fifth track… i think it’s even worse than the crap played on MTV
and check them out playing “live” in some israeli TV show… it’s on you tube.. the guy tries to sing, OMG :shock: while watching it you can’t decide whether to laugh or cry…

Well I’m one of those old fans that Ray mentioned and while I do understand what you are all saying, I myself don’t mind the different directions that the IM take every now and then. Sure there’s not much “psytrance” to it anymore but I’ve listened to alot of music besides psytrance over the years and I am still impressed with their talent as musicians and thier skills as producers. Each to their own though.

I’m still very much looking forward to the upcoming Shpongle and Hallucinogen offerings :wink:
