well, I have never been in a live Twisted party, since most of them in worldwide and ya asses never been to Israel.. well maybe Koxbox and Shpongle once , Shpongle at 2001 when I was young and ignorant.. and Koxbox is underground parties and i’m not much in a mood for that.. anyways…. just curious… in any live of a twisted artist.. do you guys use any live instrument? Keyboard/synth/guitars/drums? ... I guess Hallucinogen/Koxbox/Prometheus and others won’t use any kind of live instrument… but maybe Shpongle/Ott/Younger Brother? Yet I know there was no major live events.. but this question is for the ones that were and for the upcoming ones ( if there is going to be some )... thanks in advance, Aviv…

At the “LIVE” US hallucinogen, shpongle & younger brother shows, simon and benji have whole assortment of synths and other electronic equipment for manipulating and improvising with the sound. The hallucinogen set on the day before new years eve, opening for the disco biscuits in philly, Simon was using synths.

so that should answer your question. they use the same live instruments they use on the albums… except for the guitars, world and organic instruments used on shpongle albums.

simon and benji also do DJ sets too though, where all they have is one of those boring CD DJ’s… it’s all pretty predictable too, because they only play their own stuff. my dj sets are much more live than that…  :shock: don’t get me wrong. i still love it and go nuts for it!

Stop advertising yourself and start making new music ;p… well I was hoping to see more new live instruments someday on Shpongle LIVE, and then it will be really live (not the full-same track, when they really edit it live) sounds like something that must happen someday!

I know what you are saying now! and I highly agree with you that electronic music should be cut up and re-arranged, changed, and morphed up, and improvised all over the place at a live event… so that it becomes a new and unique experience

i don’t know why electronic artists always seem to be set on playing their songs from start to finish…
why not take sections and re-place them here, there, and all over the place?
