...and the Day Turned to Night

If the words ‘life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness’ don’t include the right to experiment with your own consciousness, then the Declaration of Independence isn’t worth the hemp it was written on.

tricky

My favourite track would actually be Periscopes of Consciousness, since that’s the one which blew my mind away the first time I ever heard Shpongle (was picked randomly at a smokeout at my place with some very good friends, who all love everything Twisted these days). In the beginning I was just into Nothing Lasts, but lately I’ve come to the conclusion that the two previous albums actually are better, especially Tales of the Inexpressible, where all the tracks are priceless.

For the time being I enjoy “Around the world in a Tea Daze” the most, maybe because I listened a lot to it while I was travelling around the world in a tea daze? wink

Peace, love & UNDERSTANDING folks LOL

I used Nothing Lasts album to introduce a friend to Shpongle. Levitation Nation is a good track for them to get into has it has that salsa feel going to it. By the time they get to When shall I be Free and they’re starting to understand my fascination.

[quote author=“uncite”][quote author=“digitalex”]...i’ve found the upbeat songs tend to be an acquired taste, which may be the case with psytrance in general…

I think your absolutely right, but once you get the taste of it, your hooked :D

I personally think that the flute in “Around the world in a tea daze” can get anybody hooked. The title alone makes people think: “Hmmmm…. That’s brilliant”

*Wholeheartedly agrees*  :D

[quote author=“banjhakri”]i generally use the herb garden, or shiva space technology

those are my two favorites, thats why

Those tracks are not Shpongle, but are mislabled tracks floating around on the web. “The Herb Garden” is actually a Hallucinogen-track, from a VA album called “The mystery of the Yeti part 2” from TIP World. Shiva Space Technology is really a tune by J

A bongrip and Divine Moments of Truth (through quality headphones) usually seems to work well.  8)

CD: Tales of the Inexpressible

Tracks: Star Shpongled Banner, Once Upon The Sea Of Blissful Awareness, Around The World In A Tead Daze, Shpongle Falls, ...and the Day turned to Night, The Herb Garden…simply any Shpongle track would attract any creature with ears!

i’m highly passionate about my love of the shpongle.

i use all three albums, tell them to listen to them all straight through and say how this is the best music i’ve ever heard in my life….  this music changed my life, so give it a chance.

people who don’t follow through… their loss. smile
