at the beginning of “shall i be free”, there is voice sampling, right after the woman. someone (simon?) talking about.. space.. time… can’t figuer it out. I’d imagine more mckenna maybe. who is it? what is he saying? did anyone manage to figure this out?

I played DMT in reverse once to hear what the begininng was, It’s actually the same sound forwards and backwards. Like’s it’s some mumbling/nonsense, and then they play it again backwards, then again forwards, then again backwards, etc. When played backwards, the voice sounds the same.

Yeah, I was a little confused at first. I’m like, “It’s exactly the same…” But then I thought about it, and I understood the truely shpongled nature of the voice.
I’ve always thought it was a little different:
“If I remove myself from this space and this time, there it is; it seems to dissolve and vanish into a small, fine point of light: the dimension of time.”
I think he’s talking about psychedelic experience, of course. Ever had that experience where you feel yourself unhook from your polarized position and re-hook into a Potential Parallel Self from the future? When you break through the aural bubble, at some point in relation to your essence there is a “small, fine point of light” that points you in the right direction… I think that it is a practical form of time-travel compressed together in order to be used in time-based human experience.
