Graham Hancock, is a well respected researcher about ancient cultures, respectfully the Pyramids of Egypt and the Sphinx. He has Written and Co written various books that are very well researched.

His new book is entitled “SUPERNATURAL” and it is a very cool read.

He takes you through the last 40,000 years of human development, and proves that around 20,000 years ago humans were very much indeed using DMT and Psilocybin to enter Altered states of Mynd, which was travelled by the Beat of the Drum ans the dancing of the Shaman. In his trances beings were sen and interacted with. and drawn apon the walls of sacred caves and stones. He traces back the concept of
:therianthorpes” which is a new word for me, but it means “half animal half human, or half mythical and half human. These beings took on Insect and mammal forms.

Most importantly though he lays out the fundamentals and the seriousness of the DMT landscapes.

It appears that for most of his life he has been Altered free. other than some pot when he was Younger. I guess basically what happened was he went down to the Jungle and DRank Ayahuasca, then smoked DMT, He was so amazed that he wrote a 300 plus book about it.
For those of you who are aquianted with the works of Terence Mckenna, Hancock boldly and acedemically goes out and comes back with a tale that even will tantalize your intelligence.

It appears that there might just be something to

TRANCE, DANCE AND MAGICAL PLANTS.

Thanks for that Cosmoz.

I read a few of Hancocks books on the pyramids etc and found them very thought provoking he’s an interesting guy.

I was gonna get this book but haven’t got round to it yet.  My mate had read it and said it was ok and in the book Hancock thanks Rick Strassman for his research in the ‘Spirit molecule book’ (If anyone hasn’t read this I would highly recommend it).  From what my mate said I got the impression that he had taken what McKenna and Strassman have said & done and put it together in a package for him to sell and make alot of money out of.  The advantage of this is that it brings to the awareness of alot of people the history of psychedelic substances.

Props to him for having the balls to go into the jungles and be a space monkey but I can’t help in this case being a bit skeptical of the guy but then maybe I sould read the book before I cast an oppinion. :D
