mainstream and underground
Will we always have to take into account the labels? Ok one can give the name overground. Or maincream. This is not the point. Anyhow, because we are talking about one of the best pieces of the genre at the moment, both Simon P. and Benji have to be very careful on this. And I do mean very careful. We dont want to end up with hypothetical ‘hits’. Come on is there anyone who needs that?
And as you said, artists expect to live and feed heads out of production. Who said no! But remember mr. Simon: The scene needs you, we need you (and all of your ‘family’-not meaning just the twisted crew ofcourse). The sound should be more goatrance, you know you’ll have sales as long as it’ll be an original psychedelic release.
A (not so) good example is Ben Watkins. I think he has ballanced between the so called mainstream and underground.
Keep it original, be original.
