Steve Good’s “Double Dragon” project was great (especially the album “Continuum”), pitty he only produces chill now (still very good though)...

Trance aside, here’s a few suggestions :

Sand - Golem
The Residents - Eskimo
Coil - The Ape of Naples
Steve Roach & Jeffrey Feyman - Trance Spirits
Delia Derbyshire - Dreams (BBC Inventions for Radio Series), Blue Veils & Golden Sands

Enjoy!

just to float our own boat… check our our album SOUP… on iTunes… we think you’ll all enjoy it. also, we have SPICES dropping in a few months that has 4 insanely killer psytrance tracks on it. you can hear samples if you click on the spices album cover on our homepage www.radioactivesandwich.com (the last 4 songs are psy).

enjoy!

- The yeti loves to drink shnaps too, so he’s like a real shaman… he, uhm, uh, if you want to contact him, you have to put some alcoholic offerings in front of the forest.

Huge agreement on Secede, he’s great.  Also check out his album ‘Bye Bye Gridlock Traffic’ for my favorite track of his - Crave and Fall.

If you’re into that type of electronica, definitely also check out Kettel, Plaid, Proem, Funckarma, Legiac and Ruxpin.  Kettel is probably my favorite of that list, and his new album ‘Whisper Me Wishes’ is the best disc of 2007 so far, for me.

Also, following on an earlier post that recommended ‘Trance Spirits’ by Steve Roach and Jeffrey Fayman - make sure to check out ‘Body Electric’ and ‘Blood Machine’ by Steve Roach and Vir Unis.  Very very psychedelic.

I ve heard some samples from Kettel as he had some releases in the same label as Secede.
Going to check this out for sure.

As for the rest of the artists, i know some names, but never heard any music by them. They will be next in the list after Secede and Kettel.
Thanks!

You’re talking about Sending Orbs records.  Kettel actually owns this label, so go figure!  Seriously, that label has not put out a single CD that isn’t very good at a minimum.

Yagya is another great artist on it, although he’s more ambient/dreamy techno than melodic IDM.
