Neil Butler seems pretty unknown as I’ve never heard of him and have only stumbled across his music by chance. Really nice stuff, kinda mix between Shpongle and Ott. Check out his track Solma Ri.

Solar Fields = Leaving Home (wow!!!)
Carbon Based Lifeforms: Hydrophonic Garden
Aes Dana - Memory Shell
Solar Fields - Earthshine (not ambient this one, but beautifully melodic progressive psy)

Also, can’t believe trentemoller’s the last resort hasn’t been mentioned! Has become one of my all time favourite electronica records

Man, when I found Ultimae, it was like a revelation.  I consistently wait with eager anticipation for each and every new album.  And the best thing is now they release through Amazon.com’s digital service so I don’t have to wait for a physical shipment from France to the US (and the high cost thereof!)

Another group I fell in love with (after finding a track on Ultimae’s Fahrenheit Project One) is Vibrasphere.  Great stuff.
