Wow, talk about tempermental.  I beleive the only gripe about the DVD was the overdubbing.  Other than that I love it.  Just relax and realize i was busting your balls with the “whaaaa” comment.

Surely the sales and, hopefully, profit this DVD generates will dictate the likelyhood of further Twisted DVD’s?

Hey simonh,

your comment (”...why bother” etc.) had me thinking for quite a while, I can totally understand, you’re working your ass off, getting interviews done, studio filming and all stuff, including adding a very special Audio CD on top of all the already great stuff, making something nice and exciting for us, and you see complaints here.

All I can say FU*KING AWESOME job you’ve done, and keep it up! We basically love it. Twisted is the best, and the feedback for improvement may sound a lot worse than it is, or how over-excited we are

Maybe you’d have to see our faces or read our minds to see that you did a great job, and it’s more than I (and surely others too) expected.

My favourite DVD ever!

I know I’m sort of writing for all,  but all you’ve done is HIGHLY APPRECIATED!
(if anyone disagrees with me, which shouldn’t be anyone, then they shouldn’t be here and go listen to some pop, radio or some other genre).

Let’s get twisted!

I must say I had one of the most entertaining nights last night watching the DVD. The overdubbing people are complaining about didn’t bother me at all - I enjoyed the studio mix of the tracks over the dancing people don’t know what all the fuss is about.

The interviews are fantastic. I love that the questions and especially the answers are not just about the music - having limited material about the twisted artists avaliable, it was great to see a bit of who they really are - I found myself laughing a lot of the time at simon’s and especially Ott’s wit oh and who could not love the interview with Raja - he always makes me happy and excited about nothing in particular.

I even watched Ott’s vj mix and have to say that I am very much looking forward to having this play when I am going on my next trip - cool edition to the rest of the dvd.

I guess that is enough said - Thanks to the twisted crew for this release was a great night in and am sure it is going to get much more of a workout in the dvd player.

Cheers

simon,

i don’t think you guys should give up. think about it… what you guys did was amazing. for such a small team to get something with so much stuff together was def. a big tast. besides the live part, the dvd is friggin’ wicked. slice one and i watched all the interviews and in the studios today and were laughing so hard and so intrigued by all the cool gear in all the artists studios. it made the dvd worth every penny.

you guys at twisted are insanely creative and do some great work. it’d be a shame to see you give up so easily. this was the first dvd, they’ll get better… just like artists…

as si p said in his interview, without a challenge, it’s no fun… and the challenge makes you better as an artist…

so take this as a challenge and give us a shpongle dvd!!!

sincerely,

slice two

The DVD is worth every penny, for the studio section alone. all the rest is a massive bonus. To finally get some real insight into who the twisted crew is was magical. You’ve all been SO BLOODY OMINOUS FOR SO LONG. And checking out all your hardware was AWSOME. If you ever feel like sharing some of those Eventides around please let me know. YOU LUCKY BASTARDS!. And Si, your synths rock as did your crap little mix. Made that look easy. And how about printing up some of those posters in your sound lab (Shpongle, and raja’s pics) A very shpongled place.

And Ott, thanks for clearing that up.

Nice work chaps.

That hoodie Raj was wearing in the interview (while rocking left and right at quite a pace - dude, that man is just a ball of positive energy!) - would there be more of them hoodies for sale? Same goes for the insanely cool blue Shpongle-poster on the wall at Hallucinogen Sound Labs (I’m digging that name)..
Apart from that, I must say that I digged the DVD; especially the CD, the studio stuff, the interviews and OTT’s AV mix (my favourite part was the one with the train tracks and the black tunnels with green lights, I think it was “Hallucinogen in Dub - LSD”). Well done Inside-us-all! (Where was it filmed? It can’t have been England, because it’s right-side driving; looks more like Italy or something.. The train tracks I mean..) . And of course, the LSD video and the Big Tits time lapse should be mentioned - they rocked too.

Wish I were there..

[quote author=“Ray”][quote author=“radioactivesandwich”]outer shpongolia on the CD isn’t working in my players…

smn or Charlie had the same thing, on the PC it worked for him, you could rip it, and burn it to another CD. That might work.

PS: I wrote you an IM, but don’t know if you got it.

I had problems with the audio CD on my main CD player, but it worked on the PC so I made a full copy of it. The copy works just fine with the CD player.

The hoodies you can get from the Tipworld site showing the original album cover and also Raja’a art work which is well cool… :D

The poster I spoted also and would make a nice addition to….maybe some group pressure and they’ll print some up???
