Mmm. Tough one. I’ve only played the album a handful of times to date but those that immediately spring to mind are the Hallucinogen, Younger Brother, and Ott tracks.

There’s a piece in Shabby Trance that starts around 2:00 in and ends around 4:00 in which is very, very special and, in my mind, encapsulates the essence of Hallucinogen. It’s beautiful, mystical, magical and conjures up thoughts, emotions and memories of my childhood when I believed pixies, fairies, goblins and the like lived through a hole in the wall at the bottom of our garden. Somehow it’s only Hallucinogen tracks that can do that to me, but forgive me, I’m digressing.

I am a Freak, on the other hand, has that cracking synth driving the tune and has great rhythm and energy but a bit like Shabby Trance sort of loses momentum towards the end. Then there’s Rogue Babel which is pretty much a masterpiece from start to finish but lacks the energy of I am a Freak and the magical ,stand-out moments of Shabby Trance.

Mm. I can’t decide. Not yet anyway.  :wink:

I voted for Rogue Bagel, but Big Tits, Shabby Trance and I’m a Freak are all tied for second place. The Koxbox track is quite nice as well.

My favourite of the tracks is Arcadia Magic, but as I already have that one I have to choose ‘Big Tits’. There’s something too fun about it.

It’s a damn good CD though.

Wow, a lot picked Ott, I thought most would’ve picked Audio Chemists - Big Tits.

I’ve voted for Big tits but probably as I haven’t heard it too many times before so it’s hard to judge.

Shabby, Rougue B, Prometheus are all stunning too. 

Rogue Bagel is insane.  Can’t wait for the new Ott album, definitely my most anticipated album of the year.

So difficult to decide between YB and Ott but went with Ott in the end - dunno why…

it wont let me vote, cant figure it out.  my pick would be Ott though.  even though it sounds production wise like everything else he does, it has a certain epicness and emotion to it.

Younger Brother - I Am A Freak

The song took me on an unbelievable voyage when I heard it for the first time!

There really wasn’t any doubt. Rogue Bagel was simply OMFG HOLY SHIT nice song!
YB’s was also cool, and the happy birthday part of Outer Shpongolia really touched me:)

But Ott is the hermit king!

Shabby trance.This is the best Hallucinogen track I’ve heard the past 4 years.(Since the Stimuli remix)

I can’t figure out if it’s possible to change my vote or not. But after a LOT of listens, I’ve found that surprisingly Side FX is the standout track for me. There’s something magical in that sound. And specifically this live mix, I don’t like the original mix all that much.
