I’ve never really thought about my top albums before, this is going to be HARD!
Here goes…
10. Infected Mushroom - I’m The Supervisor
I know, they’ve pretty much sold out these days but this album was one of the main things responsible for getting me into psychedelic music. It’ll always have a place in my heart.
9. Minus The Bear - Planet of Ice
I don’t listen to too much rock music these days but these guys are so unique and talented that they keep me coming back for more, haha.
8. Pluxus - Solid State
Quite strange music that doesn’t really sound like something that would normally catch my attention. There are lots of strange little bits and pieces and usual choices in competition that make it stand out from anything similar for me though.
7. Shpongle - Nothing Lasts… But Nothing Is Lost
The whole album is good but the last three tracks are my favourite thing to listen to on psychedelics. There are a couple of tracks on here that I don’t really feel though, a lot of people seem to disagree though.
6. Hallucinogen - Twisted
I’ve listened to the opening track a ridiculous amount of times! Lots of great songs on here plus it’s gapless. Any top 10 would be incomplete without it.
5. Jose Gonzalez - Veneer
There’re too many great tracks on here to name. Hints, Crosses and of course Heartbeats are probably my favourites though. It’s just such a good album for relaxing to.
4. Calyx & Teebee - Anatomy
I went through a phase of this album being pretty much all I listened to. A true dnb masterpiece.
3. Younger Brother - The Last Days of Gravity
Contains one of my all time favourite tracks, Psychic Gibbon. I really like most of the album but that track in particular blows me away every time.
2. Burial - Untrue
This album is so unbelievable deep and original. Every single track makes me think. It definitely deserves 2nd place in my top 10.
1. Shpongle - Are You Shpongled?
I adore this album! Contains my favourite Shpongle track Shpongle Spores, which would also place pretty highly in my all time favourite tracks in general.
Ineffable Mysteries might make it’s way in there one day, it’s not familiar enough yet though.
