So my question is where they all at? I think music videos are great to watch and I’m suprised that none of the twisted artists don’t have any. I realize Twisted is still somewhat small and they don’t have a huge budget. But I mean I was surfing the net one day and happen to randomly find this…....If I didnt read the info on it, I would have thought it was a authentic video for the song produced by twisted. Minus a few things, like the mtv2 logo and redhot chili peppers. http://youtube.com/watch?v=KXCku-WdELA# i got to thinking about this because I was reading the twisted dvd post and well…..most dvds have music videos too that the artists have put out, like a collection. I really hope that twisted thinks about this and perhaps come out with some videos, just think how awesoem a video would be for YB’s Scanner or LSD by halluc or OK Comp by Promethus! BLAH just a few thoughts raspberry

The DVD has an official (never released) LSD music video from 1995, I think it’s cool, and yep I’d love to see some, although I don’t think those’d be shown often on TV, which means money thrown out of the window (sort of), at least considering that the company could use the money for other stuff.

I agree with Ray.
Most video clips are boring… unless they have hot boobs…!
:D
The only visual stuff from twisted artists i like to watch, are live performances
from festivals, (like the TWISTED DVD) and documentaries about the psychedelic culture.

Peace.

Can’t believe you wouldn’t wanna see music videos that are not live. Hasn’t anyone here seen the smack my bitch up visdeo by prodigy? Very entertaining, I could imagine twisted songs with videos that tell a story or that are visually stunning with art or something like that, look at tool’s parabola video, the last minute and a half or something like thast Alex Grey does the visual part of that and of course it’s amazing.

Well i said most of them, not all… :D
Smack my bitch up is really awesome, but it is one in a million…

I got what you mean Zurr0 but i think it’s not feasible for labels like twisted.
It’s a high budget shit..

Peace

100% agree, it was also my thought with some art and some form of a story.

I wanna see what some of the inside people have to say about this…I’m serious I want some visuals! Like cause when I checked out Infected mushroom’s video section, the live video clips of poor audio and quality of the artists that we listen to are soooooo boring :/  and as I said in the Amsterdamn post, some of us live in the states so it’s harder for us to just go out and see the artists live. So I get no outlet other then these forums and website. Of course the music as well…. Oh also the videos on youtube blow too :/ you gotta admit you’ve watched a few but to sit there and watch a majority of them and enjoy them….heh that ain’t happening.  Twisted > ALL

Me too. I always get visuals about the music I listen to. It’s strange because since most of the music doesn’t have lyrics, I visualize shapes and what the sounds would look like and what movements they have. But I always thought that’s how you make a good music video for instrumental music. By focusing on the shapes and movements that the sounds make.

a music video with some story line might be dope too
like ‘Arabian knights on mescaline’ would make an amazing music video

wow crazy, I’ve been to their myspace page but never seen it(it has beena while sdince I last visited) But I must say Scanner is BY FAR my favorite track ever done in electronica music. I don’t know why that isnt their single off the cd. Dont get me wrong, finger is an amazing track in its own, but Scanner is on a whole nother level.

[quote author=“Zurr0”]and as I said in the Amsterdamn post, some of us live in the states so it’s harder for us to just go out and see the artists live.

If I saw correctly Simon has been over in the states a few times these last few years. Even on youtube there are videos from this year doing new younger brother tracks so he does get over there.
