I think the biggest dance fest is Dance Valley, there was also some kind of beach festival in Rotterdam I heard of a couple of years ago. I believe the free party scene is still fairly active also.

I have been to Lowlands which is like the Dutch Glasto and Fields of Rock which is like the Dutch Donington! Also just got back from seeing the Black Crowes in Amsterdam through a cloud of smoke so thick I could barely see the stage! Bugger the smoking ban, I’m going for 5 days again in May…

No worries then as the ban doesn’t come into effect until July. Also it’s ok in coffee shops if they have partioned areas where customers won’t be served. Pure cannabis joints will be ok also.

I’ve always wanted to go to Amsterdam, if Twisted decides to do this in the future it will probably be inspiration enough to make it out there

So Simon did not play @ earthdance in amsterdam? Almost went there but had other things to do.

I would love an Amsterdam show, but Amsterdam isn’t the only city in Holland you know;) Would love to help in some way. If it is in Groningen I will even help for free!
