Ok so hopefully simonh sees this thread, so my question is…What the heck happened to the contest that was going on like 8-12 months ago, I believe you asked us all to come up with the best memorobilia item and that you guys would end up producing X amount of them. So what happened to it? If i recall the Shpongle Mask was the at the top of the list.

i think that was simon b, but to answer your question- shpongle masks would be way too expensive to manufacture unless you were producing maybe 10,000 in china or something.  i would love to do a huge bus shelter A0 size shpongle poster but to make it feasible you need to be printing 500 at least. making just a handful for the peeps on this forum wouldn’t make it worth while as the set up costs are so high. that’s the problem.

What about making a “digital poster”. A tiff. or PDF image for us to download in print-quality. I would pay 3-5

I don’t like to contradict the decisions of the Twisted staff because I’m sure they know best, but I’m pretty sure there are at least 500 people on the planet who would fork out for a massive Shpongle poster

I’d buy one too! I would particularly buy one if you sold one of those posters Posford’s got in his studio, the blue poster featured on the DVD with all those neat litte circuit boards and nibbly bits Si speaks so fondly of… And those blobby .... blobbery .... Raja pieces are also quite cool.

sounds easy if you placed posters in every head shop worldwide. but we dont have the contacts or time to devote to that. selling 500 from the website i think would take around 7-8 years. so yes it’s possible- probably for sure !

simon hold up though, let us not just completely give up on this contest or from giving feedback for new ideas!  I think with the few added new people to the forums that it could spawn new ideas. I think you should ppromote this contest again. I would really be satisfied even with a poster idea. I mean honestly I think you guys could use a boost in the shop secion ;/

Oh and we American’s have to pay a lot for your stuff. I mean when I buy your cd’s they cost me at around 30 dollars with shipping and taxes and wtf ever else it cosst to get it from you to me. Now 30 dollars is a lot to some people, most of us are young adults here with full tim jobs that don’t pay good or students with jobs or some sort of combination of that. Getting paid $8.00 is like near 4 hours of work just to get the new YB cd :/ So i mean damn! But none the less I still will buy the new YB cd and the twisted dvd because I like this label and the music it produces a lot…..obviously :/

anyhow there’s some weird tension in the air ......guess no one thinks, that15-20$ dollars should be too much for a shpongle cd. i’d also give a shit about 30, because shpongle just ownz:D

just keep that poster idea in your mind/ be sure that there’ll be more than 500 people who are interested in a shpongle poster;)
