but i thought it would be better to open a new one, as this one is mostly about the Twisted Sessions.

What about Twisted Sessions?
Do you twisted guys listen to the music that is uploaded there?
I think there are some guys that produce really nice and original music!

My idea is that you could set up a kind of contest between the members of twisted sessions.
All the members would vote for their favorite track and then the twisted staff could pick some of those (not having to listen to all of the tracks, which is difficult, but only the 10 first let’s say) to participate in a form of digital compilation perhaps, under the twisted label.

I think this would rise the level of twisted sessions much higher, and could help Twisted Records to trace some new talents.

I’ve had similar thoughts, as I was wondering do our tracks get listened to by the twisted staff. There are a lot of new artists and tracks being put up. I remember reading the idea of the twisted sessions was so as not to send the demos into twisted as it was getting to many, so put them up on your own twisted sessions site. However as there is so many it must be hard to get around to them all.

Not a bad idea with the compilation. You would however have to have different categories for different styles I think. I for example have a more ambient chill theme whereas there are some who are more progressive to full on. Or would maybe have to be decided what style/theme of compilation and then artists should submit tracks accordingly. Even I have some more progressive in the DiMuTech vaults but haven’t dared to release to the public

I like the idea!
Without much talking, I will gladly be in. I love contests, I love listening to what other people are doing. The site has been painfully dormant lately and I would really love to see it boiling with interest and enthusiasm again.

I also would like to see this but I myself have been having a hard time keeping up with posts unlike before as there are a lot more posts than a year ago. There are so many more artist on sessions now. A lot of music to listen to and hard to comment on all tracks especially when trying to come up with new ideas yourself.

It is a dream of mine to be a Twisted artist one day however it would help if I produced music to suit them     Oh well I can keep dreaming. I’ve got a twisted sessions site so that will have to make do for now

I think the contest idea is a interesting thing. There are a great number of good artists out there. But if they felt like signing up a new lucky one they would have done that allready. They would certenly find someone on Twisted Sessions whom they like, but they don’t seem to have time with any one new :S Sorry for the pessimistic reply! I gladly support to get things going here!
