Food of the Gods - Terence Mckenna
And the Ass saw the Angel - Nick Cave

I’m a big nerd, so most of my reading is very technical in nature…lately it’s been a lot of electrical and mechanical engineering and stuff related to audio component design.  The last few good non-technical books I have read are Intelligence in Nature by Jeremy Narby and True Hallucinations by Terence McKenna.

The last fiction books I really liked were Pat Conroy’s The Lords of Discipline and The Great Santini.  They are nothing mind-blowing, but just very engaging stories told masterfully and humorously.  But it’s been 6 or 7 years since I read them, if that tells you anything about me and fiction.

Food of the Gods is a good book.
I like Agatha Christie. Nothing wrong with a good whodunnit.
To Kill A Mockingbird is one of my all time favorites.

I have all sorts of books ranging from Gene Worship, Discovering Soul Potential to Proof of the Illuminati and David Icke books.

If anyone has a copy of Activating Evolution or knows someone who has, and doesn’t mind to part with it please let me know

I have a copy of the Agatha Christie one but with a different title. It’s an early edition paperback worn with age though.
John Grisham wrote the client. I have read this one too.
IT was a big favorite when I was in 2nd year at boarding school and got handed around. It scared the sh*t out of us. LOL  LOL

And then there were none used to be called “10 little indian/nigger boys” or something like that, in the past, if I remember correctly.

The English version published 1939 was called Ten Little Niggers and the American copy was called And then there were none. However in the 60’s they changed the title to Ten Little Indians.

I really liked it anyway. Certainly was a mindboggler.

P.S Moving to off topic forum as it’s not general chat about Twisted related music or stuff

Books? We have computers, movies, and other visual ways of telling stories. I’m sorry but books are just outdated and most people were not raised to read books. I know books have a certain unique way of telling a story but like I said it just seems like such an out dated way of giving and passing information and knowledge.

Bikes are outdated compared to the car but people still use them. For us who were born pre 1980’s some of us still like to indulge in a good book and still obtain information via computers etc. LOL
I still see a lot of people reading books say when I’m on a train or bus. A lot of people I know still read books. So outdated as they may be people still read even if the new generations aren’t being raised to read books. I’m going to raise my kids to read them in any case.

LOL  LOL  Roald Dahl. Reminds me I was on holiday in Portugal recently and I saw a copy of James and the Giant Peach. I bought it and read it again as it was 25 years ago I had read it last. I’m now going to keep hold of this one for my maybe future kids. I haven’t read Georges Marvelous Medicine though. Don’t think I have any way. I remember reading BFG by him. Now I am remembering kids books. I used to love the famous five. Preferred them to the secret seven which I also read.
