[quote author=“DiMuTech”]I saw a video on you tube with 2 girls dancing to Simon playing some shpongle and to be honest as it was obviously not thought about it didn’t look to good. So I just closed my eyes and listened instead

yeah i actually saw the video too, with the two girls griming up on eachother with crazy outfits on and then a random chick hula hooping off to the side…(i think that might be the one you are talking about)...but when i suggest Shpongle Dancers, i mean legitimate dancers that are in sync with e/o and the music; like an actual performance

Yeah I think we mean the same one. I forgot the hula hoop girl to the right of the stage.

Maybe it could work if it was done with some sync to it. I usually just stomp myself around so don’t really notice the eye candy LOL

Shpongle had two crazy dancers dressed as pixies during their set at glade 2007. one of them was carrying a live python over her shoulders. they were absolutely wicked, really added to the whole shpongle experience, so definately don’t object to their being dancers during shpongle set’s. No, i’d actually encourage it :D

[quote author=“cbou24”]i’m gonna have to say when i go to shows… i want to see whoever is making the music, underneath sick lights, and possibly an artist on the side painting.

surely you must be a sector 9 fan? I cant think of a more satisfying band to see live than sts9. they always pull off sick shows, with awesome lights, and j garcia or kris d off to the side makin some badass art.

Not an artist on the side painting with fire?
I reckon only if it’s choreographed to the tracks. But saying that every shpongle track tells a different story to different people. I reckon just leave it to Raja.

Well, I was glad there were dancers… certainly put a smile on my already smiled out face!!!!!!!!
Infact… I lost my smile at the roundhouse, anyone seen it?!  :(

Shpongle & dancers, worked very well!!! Loved how ‘busy’ the stage seemed at times, times when it was appropriate e.g. the carnival flavoured tracks….

and that bloke was good too!! (not just raja  )
