is there anything still in the making?  i’m still waiting for some mention of this and the huge possibilities. 

if not are there any other tracks they made other than the one released on the unusual suspects disc??  anything available for download??

I heard that there is not going to be any more tracks with this collabaration.. that ballons track was a good one indeed

In the interview with ministry of sound I think Simon said that their aint gonna be any album, at least not in the nearest future.

Last I heard, they planned to get it back on track in 2008

Ministry of Sound used to have a psytrance show called New Wave Radio.
I tried to find the archive page but it seems they’ve taken the show off the air. :(

It went to air about a year ago. Simon played a bunch of Shpongle stuff, but the kicker was getting to hear 3 tracks off the new YB album (a year ago!), plus an unreleased dub version of Balloon Dance

I’m sure if you scour the internet you’ll find a copy

If it’s any consolation, the interviewer was a complete gimp and obviously didn’t know who he was in the presence of :wink:

On the DVD Simon P says that the Metal Sharon project was still going to happen.

i have the entire MoS set. Slice One had just broken his leg a few weeks before in a motorcylce accident and we chilled to the set at his place while he was recovering. I recorded it onto my computer.

I’m confused as to what’s going on in twisted land at the moment.

On the one end we’re told that shpongle 4 is currently in the making. And yet i just read on raja’s myspace that he’s in the process of finishing up the ZAP album with benji, and according the interview on the DVD simon’s gone back to working on the metal sharon project with merv.

So which one’s are actually getting written atm?  :?

Can’t see why all projects can’t run at roughly the same time. It’s probably to do with when folk can get together. I dunno maybe Raj and Si get together Monday to Wednesday and Benji has custody of him Thursday to Saturday with him having Raj day on Sunday.

Merv from Eat Static recently played a chillout set at the Rainbow Serpent festival in Australia, and he dropped one of my favourite (unreleased!) Metal Sharon tracks

I’ve heard Posford play it a few times but I never knew exactly who it was by, or if I would ever hear it again! It’s not psytrance; it has an awesome breakbeat and a really funny sample

I spoke to Merv later on and he reckons it’s called Cybotron (or Cybertron?)

This has only reinforced my view that Metal Sharon should definitely get back on track as soon as possible!

Are there any plans to release Cybotron?
