Nice review. Really looking forward to hearing the new album. If you have ever seen the episode of South Park where Cartman freezes himself waiting for the Nintendo Wi then you have an idea on how I’m feeling
[quote author=“digitalex”]it was supposed to be out on dec. 17th. i write reviews for a few mags and sometimes get music a bit early. helps to build the anticipation
You mean just tease us mere mortals who must wait That’s just mean
right, as if there wasn’t plenty of anticipation already. i’m soo sorry. actually, i thought it was out already. didn’t notice the date had been pushed back again.
Yup.. this is everything I hoped for, top notch stuff, this is Ott’s best work yet, the production is amazing. Every track here is a winner, no disappointments. ‘A Shower of Sparks’ is simply out of this world, divine. ‘Signals From Bob’ - that bassline!! just sooo ‘Ott’ ), ‘The Queen of all Everything’ dreamy mellow loveliness.
10/10 - It’s been said many times, but let me reiterate, this man is a genius.
Not yet digitally on iTunes, Beatport, AudioLunchbox, PsyMP3 and (I guess it also won’t be) on trackitdown… leaves me to the conclusion that it hasn’t been released digitally.
I got mine today I’m so happy and buzzed.
Anyway the album is truly an amazing piece of work. Right up there with Last Days. It all depends on what mood you are in. Production is fantastic. Beaut melodies. Awesome basslines and the Ott magic with the vocals. How does he do it???
I have only one negative point. When playing on my computer so I could hear the bass through my monitors there was no album information or picture on the media player. I like that little stuff. No track name just track number on Unknown album.
it seems to sink in to me better than blumenkraft… on the very first listen I was slightly disappointed but now, on probably 106th listen it is growing and growing like a dubby-bowel shaking monster. I would consider it ‘a masterpiece’, and in my opinion it’s waay better than blumenkraft, and on a par with HiD…. I love the fact it’s so enjoyable to listen to from start to finish without interruption (no slightly irritating bits).
