[quote author=“YohanKiwi”]yeah its bloody ridiculous to be honest. i was supposed to be going with a load of my best mates but in the end only 3 of us managed to get tickets and they’ve been trying to get some on ebay for the past few weeks but just can’t fork out the amount of money they’re asking for.
what’s so annoying about the whole thing is that the vast majority of this kind of touting/taking advantage of music fans is SO easy to stop. All you have to do is to hold back a couple of hundred tickets until a couple of weeks before the event.
i would’ve thought that twisted and the roundhouse would have had the sense to do this, especially considering they put the tickets on sale 8 months before the concert when most people had absolutely no idea what they would be doing then and/or how their finances would shape up at that time. Poor show IMO… (actually to be fair, i don’t reckon twisted would have had much of a say in this)
Still, at least there’s 3 of us going (now 4 thanks to jahful :D), which is a hell of a lot better than me going by my lonesome
Its sad people are touting (is that the right term?) these tickets, but even if they held tickets back the touts would get them too. AC/DC is playing here in Toront, tickets sold out in under and hour. But that same day you could order seats in almost any seciotn for 10X or more the cost from the “legal” resellers over here. Sucks!
But I am glad they went on sale when they did, took us nearly the whole time to arrange this trip - our first time to Europe. And oh, what a trip it will be!
