Mine turned up last week and as with all the Ultiame releases it doesn’t disappoint.

In fact it’s blimin great!, like Hol Bauman it’s a very individual style of down tempo break beat ambient with lucious melodies which come and go.  The artwork in the booklet is stunning and is done by a dude at www.sub88.com

I checked out the site and its cool.  Listening to the album as I type - yum :D

really unique sound !
beautiful compositions !
very spacey and yet very organic….at the same time.
great production, the mastering is top quality as always !
ethereal melodies wrapped with sharp groovy
rhythms and strange crispy sounds and effects.
a multi layered album with a real psychedelic depth…and gentle but electrifying atmosphere and even mystic at times.

Leaving home is unreal, the whole album just floats from start to finish.

One of my fav tracks on it is ‘times are good’ near the end, god knows how many times I’ve listened to the album.

A colab with Posford would be serious..

i also really love he’s Blue Moon Station album,  beautiful, powerful stuff !  8)

Awesome news on the new sletter this week, Solar Fields is releasing a new solo album end of this year called Movements, this in addition to the new HUVA network…

Ultimae records brings the heat..its a toss up for my favorite between solar fields and aes dana..but then you thrown in CBL and asura and cell and its even harder to chhose

I don’t know of another label which has so many quality artists and compilations. I’m listening to Faranheit 6 as I type this.  Cell - erasing pluto is unreal and a beautiful track.

James Murray’s album has just dropped but I haven’t got it yet and in the new year Jan 19th the new epic by Solar Fields - Movements - I hyped about it alread.. :D

I got the James Murray album and I listen to it quite a lot and I really recommend it !
it’s a beautiful adventure , a journey to some after the rain mornings inside of some magical forests :D

I also got the Leaving Home reprint and like you said, it’s unreal ! a wonderful masterpiece !

also can’t wait for ” movements ” I heard the samples at the beginning of this month and it sounds totally mind blowing !  :D
I think it will probably be one of the best Ambient, downtempo albums of 2009.

It’s great isn’t it!!  AND they release about 4+ albums a year AND you get email updates every 3 ish weeks 10/10 :wink:

....I’m very well gad but still getting over the frustration of you know what that wasn’t released - enough of this, I’m not saying anymore.  :D
