Wow.  2 years in the making.  How is it?  I’m nervous that there will be too much of a rock sound with the live performance and not enough dub.  Just my taste and thoughts from the samples but I only listened to them once.

First listen done. I’m picky as HELL when it comes to what you’re talking about… They deliver. They deliver. This is outstanding.

Hell hath officially frozen over… due both the fact that Twisted released an album earlier than expected (well, sort of), and the fuckin chilled out nature of this album. Only two tracks through so far… loving it, just wishing twisteddownloads had FLAC!!!!

Listening to it right now.  I agree, it doesn’t disappoint.  Hard to say worth the wait after how frustrating it was so I won’t, but wow.

I’ve already bought it without hearing it first apart from the site previews. I just took the word of the many good comments made in 2007 on the party and have been looking forward to a new approach and take of what is a fantastic studio album. It’s live, it’s gonna be different just like the Shpongle show was different from the albums.

These following comments were wrote after the party in 2007

Willowman wrote “My own personal highlights of the night were Hallucinogen In Dub (sublime) and Prometheus (stomping)”

Suig wrote “I loved Ott, Hallucinogen In Dub and then Younger Brother was completely mind blowing. Somehow think that Prometheus should give up DJ ing and Trance and concentrate on the stuff he likes and is good at”

Sirdropsalot wrote “WOW. What an amazing party. My highlight was definately seeing Hallucinogen in Dub. Truly mindblowing. I know its a hassle to organise and do (which is prob why its only been done twice ever) but you guys should really consider showing the live talent off more often. Come to Glade this year and do an in dub set! (that would be AWESOME)
I love the way Ott was onstage so much, he is in my opinion as much of a sonic genius as mr posford himself, though not to detract any amount of respect from the latter, I thought his performances were incredible, as usual.”

In reply to that post YohanKiwi wrote “I most definately second that. i find that fully live electronica is quite rare to find atm, unless its at the big festivals. and even when you do find it, it

I think the major problem is that they don’t do more as live sets… in regards to someone who said this might be their future, I could definitely agree. The drums on HiD Live are very crucial and really drive the album. Y’all know my thoughts on the bass but given an improvement with that and the introduction of live voices remixed on the spot and a few other key touches, and of course extreme practice this and the likes of Shpongle/YB could be sets which match the likes of Cirque du Soleil. I would absolutely be willing to pay the $50+ for the experience of it, as well.
