Who’s Got the Acid?
These days, almost nobody.

Researchers at the University of Michigan started tracking the illicit drug habits of America’s high-schoolers in 1975. Despite the inherent difficulty of conducting such surveys

I thought the kids had stolen all the acid, we get the odd trip here and there but they don’t seem to be like they were ‘back in the day’ (which for me was the late 80’s early 90’s) the last one I had didnt work at all, the one before that was rather dirty, you know the ‘dirty acid’ feeling? I have given up with the search for LSD. Perhaps it is the shrooms that have made me all ‘au natrel’ and anti chemical, but, it would be great to have a book full of acid to make a comparison LOL Willing tester smile

There is a swaying by the drug takers of the modern day towards ‘closed mind’ drugs, like cocaine n that, people aren’t as tuned in as they used to be - or maybe they are just the people I tend to notice at parties and wonder why they are there.

Interesting artical and point made.

Like you I use to hammer the stuff 88 to 92 ish and it was well strong and had amazing times.

These days I’m happy to eat mushrooms every so often and thats only about 3/4 times a year now.  As for the general ‘clubber’ of today I think they all either have cocaine or pills.

There’s no agents left…  :D

The last paragraph is very interesting. I’m just reading about Gurdjieff, where a claims that the evolution of humans is that they will become more and more ‘slaves’. In this context he might be right (as he’s right in many things). Though the last sentences claim that the use of drugs will never disappear, it could be interesting to know in what direction the use of drugs shifts. If drug use shifts from mind-expanding to mind narrowing, we are clearly going in that direction.

I like LSD. Got it as much as I need/want smile Taken only a few trips, I can already recommend.

I’ve always enjoyed the effects of mushrooms much more when compared to acid, but damn what i wouldn’t do to eat some pure, dank, pharm grade 1960’s LSD…

It’s really sad news in my opinion that something relatively safe like LSD is being replaced by drugs like ecstacy, in which are you can never really know what you are getting… for that reason I’ve never tried E but have found that there are many spiritual benefits to the ‘pure’ forms of hallucinogens such lsd, shrooms or salvia… it’s really too bad we don’t have a corporate/government system which acknowledges forms of spiritual progression outside of the church… I bet Jesus and the prophets were true oneironauts… hardened trippers,,,,

What do you think he did when he was in the desert for 40 days. I wonder if there was any cactus out there?
