Any Logic users here?  I can’t really afford the Pro version right now, so I’ve been thinking about giving the Express version a shot… but I read on Apple’s comparison chart that the Express version is limited to “12 Input channels”.  I’m not sure if I’m reading that correctly - does it mean you’re limited to recording 12 MIDI/audio channels simultaneously, or does it mean you’re limited to having 12 seperate MIDI/audio channels total per song?  If it’s the latter, well that really sucks!

I use Logic Pro now but i used Logic Express for a long while and it never really limited me, the 12 midi/audio channels is simultainiously not all together, so it doesnt suck at all, the only difference i have really noticed from moving from Express to Pro is the fact you can’t sidechain compressors and gates in express and you can sidechain just about anything in Pro and the plugins/video stuff are improved apart from that i’d say not alot of difference really.

Thanks for the reply HoKuM,  A 12 channel total limitation does seem a bit ridiculous now that I think about it, but I just couldn’t find any clarification anywhere - I appreciate it!
