After spending more than two years of writing, recording and playing, Hoopy Frood’s second album is finished and currently being mixed by Ott. ‘Chasing Inspiration’ is the first track from the new album to be completed and a pre-mastered version can be previewed on Myspace.

whoa! thanks a lot for posting this, I had no idea a new album was coming out. I absolutely love their first album, I listen to it at least once a week. looking forward to the new one!

I’d buy the second album if it’s remixed by Ott, I’m sure it will be fab.  I bought the first album back in 2004 but I couldn’t really get to grips with it, to me it sounded like a lot of familiar stuff all put together and sounded just a bit odd?

Maybe I should give it another spin..

It is one of my all time faviourite albums. Quite looking forward to the new one, there is a track off it somewhere about the internet - it smells of Ott

I’m still waiting, unfortunately I haven’t found any news about the release or release-date.

Seems Ott is quite busy with gigs (read ottsonic.com), so I guess we have to wait!

They are playing tomorrow at a Private party, don’t have a clue where though but I guess London.

I would appreciate if you post any news here.
