I have allways used sonar and have been thinking about changing to cubase so I tried out cubase LE of a friends and at first glance it looks very confusing after being so use to sonar, so I was just wondering do you think there would actually be any benifit to change to cubase (probably cubase 4) or just stick with sonar since Im use to that?

Naw,

In all reality, at the end of the day, they both get the same job done, just in different ways.

I’ve used both quite a bit, and I’m definitely a bigger fan of Cakewalk’s software.
I know Infected Mushroom uses Cubase though.
I am a devout user of Cakewalk Project 5.

So, use what you’re comfortable with, and what gives YOU the most control.

Thanks for the reply, I hear of so many people using cubase it made me wonder if it was better in anyway but Im sure you get the same result and I would be better sticking to sonar because I am use to it and am really comfortable with it now, thanks smile
