Dubterrania quote? (McKenna)

In the song Dubterrania by Slack Baba there is a quote from Terence McKenna where he says:
“The understanding of nature is the understanding of complex, integrated systems”

Does anyone know where this is from? I’m using the quote in an article and need to know it’s source.

I have Alien Dreamtime and some other recordings but sorry can’t rightly remember that quote. Sorry for not being able to help.
