I’ve browsed the forums for a year or two but never registered until now.  This thread finally did me in!  Thanks so much for posting that link, I’ve never heard any live Shpongle DJ sets before.  I love how he twists up the songs and adds in the fat basslines.  Was Ott involved in this? Was he up there playing bass?  It really sounds like Shpongle in Dub at times.  I love it, it’s like hearing the songs again for the first time :D

Track one is Balloon Dance part 1 i believe

Yes it sure is!
I’ve been referring to it as the “dub mix” of Balloon Dance…

And I’ve been searching for a higher-quality copy for ages!
The only other time I’ve heard it was in the background during Simon’s interview on New Wave Radio, and it had some horrible twat DJ talking over the song!

PS: I daren’t listen to either of the new Shpongle leaks, as I believe it to be sacrilege of the highest order to listen to anything lower than cd-quality Shpongle!  :wink: True!
