And it’s announced like 1 1/2 month prior to the concert, weird! ... Will there be any more gigs, perhaps? I’d like to see one in Sweden

I’d say that if there were more shows it would be in cities like Tokyo, New York, LA, Berlin, and maybe somewhere in Israel.

Strange, that there was’nt any mentions about several live show’s beforehand?

I was living in the thought that London set is unique and only. Oh well luck for those who missed it.

not sure.. not many fans of shpongle in the states and such as in Berlin… they have one of their biggest fan bases here in Israel but all the psytrance productions work underground and all the psy events are outdoor in the nature..not sure anyone here is able to have shpongle on a decent venue.. plus - shpongle seconds or first concert ever was in Israel and the sound from what iv’e heard was terrible…

few photos iv’e found @ http://www.isratrance.com/Gallery.php

I’m not sure how you can say that the US doesn’t have many Shpongle fans when I am from the US and Simon tours there plenty. He plays Camp Bisco every year. Nearly all of my friends in the US know about Shpongle.

still US is big and he needs to choose places like NY or LA as stated above but still when we talk on alot of fans i’m talking about 1,000 - 4,000 and as far as i know the u.s scene and psychadelic music is not much.. if all your friends know shpongle then this is nice !

Yeah. I get what you mean. I just don’t think there is anywhere indoors that Shpongle would risk trying to book a gig with that much capacity. Roundhouse only held a few hundred. It was WAY to crowded in there. But I made a point of flying to the UK just to see Shpongle on Halloween.

The Roundhouse held about 3000. I don’t think it was too crowded at all, I just totally digged the atmosphere! So much happiness in one place, I’ve rarely felt the same. And now the World is gonna get Shpongled! Hooray!

3000??? Are you serious? It sure didn’t seem that way. Most people I have talked to said it was way to crowded on the floor. A group of us walked around the back for the first part of the show trying to find a place where we could see and really couldn’t find one. I ended up standing right behind the soundboards with this giant guy blocking my view most of the time. But…..still a good show. grin

I didn’t find it crowded either, I thought it was just right :D

The vibe was unreal in there and is was an extra special night for me and my mates as we were cellibrating 20 years to the night that we first took acid!

And in fine style the shrooms added to the laughter and the craziness.  The gig was as special as the first time 20 years ago.  I’d say the Shpongle gig was one of my happiest memories a true magic moment and feel so lucky that in years to come I’ll be able to look back on it. Thx :D :D
