Boom Chicka, Boom Chicka!!!! Do you guys use any analog gear in your productions? It all has that Roland or Korg “ish” smooth cold digital kinda feel IMHO. More warmth and aggressive growling grit would be nice. Thanks for the uploads!  : )

Just took a listen.

I’m not a big fan of psytrance (Except for Benji, and Simon)
So I don’t feel justified in commenting on those 2 tracks.

Samanzee -
A little Amon tobin influence, eh?  :D
You guys did a good job with this one. Everything fits well in the mix.
Nice big drums, lovely selection of instruments and effects.
Not too big on the voice sample towards the end. But that’s just me.
I love the e-piano that comes in about 2/3 the way through.
Good listen.

Careful Consideration of the Xa -
This is the shit!  GREAT intro.
Extremely Entheogenic-like (perhaps a little Kuba in there as well).
I really dig this one you guys. Probably my favorite track of yours…ever….
Top notch quality of prodoctuion, and the atmosphere and feeling of the piece is wonderful.
More please.

I finished a new PsyDub track a few weeks ago. Check it out if you’d like.

Keep up the work!

-CW

Ps: You remember that old fellow Cubensis Theory? You know that’s me right?
We go waaaaaaaay back, Sandwich Bros…  :D

yo cw, thanks for the kind words!

we’re huge amon tobin fans. guess it does show! hahaah.

that track was a real big one for us. we love everything about it. it’s on our album soup… which is available on itunes.

xa is a track we’ve hadfor a while that we remixed, added some, and mastered for the upcoming one. the entire album is stuff like that. we’re really proud of how it’s turned out. right now, i’m actually just putting the final touches on the stereo files for the master to send out to out distributor smile

and we promise to only have one delay! if there are more, we’ll release stuff for free to make up for it!!! smile

thanks for the kind words my friend!

as for your track, this is wicked great. very ott like. your use of the dub delays and fx is really great. it’s hard, when writing a track similar to ott, to do something completely different since his style is so specific to him. i like how you’ve taken what he does and just done it really well, and added a new touch to it. it’s the kind of track where on first listen, you’d mistake it for ott, but then you’d realize that there are sounds in there he wouldn’t neccessarily use the way you’ve used them. i see a lot of potential in this, and i can def. see how those 4 months were spent smile keep it up!

- slice two

ps - just saw your ps, what’s up dude!!!!!!??!?!?!?!

Heh heh. Suprise suprise.
Long story short, I went through a bit of a musical depression.
During that time I discovered who I was as an artist.
Now I’m back on track and in full production again.
Cubensis Theory was the artist name for my psytrance phase (now over).
Cloudwalker is my old name, back before CT.

Meh….details….  rolleyes

hey man that’s how it goes. sometimes you just gotta change your shit when the old you isn’t you anymore!

shit man, when i did solo stuff (which sucked balls) i had 2 different names depending on the mood of the track!

on a side note, another track from the new album will be up on myspace tonight, called “you’re’nt”. if you like “xa”, you’ll fucking LOVE this one.
