Fluid Audio is a record label promoting the very best electroacoustic musicians from around the globe. they will be up and running in the new year (  February 2009 ) with their first release - ” Hope Project “, it’s a compilation that consists of several artists, some are known and some are less known but just as good. here is the list -

” Each artist has been asked to compose a piece that represents the following:
Although we are living in a world of injustices, where the rich get richer, and those in need get left behind, there is an inherent hope in those who suffer the most. Where people have the least, they seem to value the most, the simple things that others take for granted. There are those who appreciate the beauty and awe of the world, and what is has to offer, in a way that those disconnected from the true meaning of life have lost. In some, there is a spark of light that no corrupt power can extinguish. Despite the negativity that we are all faced with in life, the human spirit can always overcome. Whether this is in the innocent laughter of a child, the compassion shown from one suffering human being to another, or through the creative translation of emotion into sounds sent to soothe or images formed to inspire, the joy of life is communicated all around us - we just need to open our hearts to it.
Hope will be available in February 2009, with 50% of all profits being donated to Charity “

and it’s a beautiful concept as well !
with some powerful artwork !

It will be available from all the normal routes such as PsyShop, Fairfield, Saiko Sounds, Amazon, etc. It will also be sold on the Fluid Audio web site (under construction), and   also from some of the artist web sites that are involved in the project and the charity’s web site.

the James Murray track is great and you can hear a gentle pink floyd influence in it.

the whole compilation sounds very soulfull and atmospheric according to the samples.

it’s a very dreamy and gentle track with intelligent programming and sharp delicate groove and warm touchy melodies.
wonderful ambient downtempo.

this compilation is very recommended !

Yeah had a look today and also subscribed. Looked good.

So after a long delay the Fluid Audio team is announcing that “Hope” will be available for purchase in the next few days and the CD’s will be at Fluid Audio HQ this Thursday.
they said that they had some issues with the print company but I guess now everything is cool and good to go…
