Wow. First Ozora, and then this! Not really sure if this already has been posted somewhere, but this is amazing news! I’m stoked. The Roundhouse gig was among the finest experiences I’ve ever had. So much happiness. Everybody Shpongled, the energy, the love, and the force shall be unleashed again.
The tickets are already on sale through the Roundhouse for 26 pounds. Sadly I was doing a semester abroad last year when I saw them on Halloween. Now I am back in America and plane tickets are almost $800 :(
I guess I will be one of the many watching if they broadcast live again.
Anyone else upset about the far release date for the album? I was hoping for new summer jams to adventure to…

Yeah actually i was planing for the summer release of the album. in my plans was to take a small amplifier, in a middle of the summer, connect it to my ipod with a new album, !originally bought! off course for the real money, and i would go in some Londonese park probably close to camden. Hamstead heath would be the best place. and sit there on a grass and play and listen to a new album. Maybe gather some friends )
Firstly, AMAZING news! This has made me sooooo happy!!
But I don’t understand why they’ve put tickets on sale already!! It’s 9 months away, i have no idea what I’m going to up to then, or if i’m even gonna be in the country, so I, like many other fans I’m sure, can’t commit to buying a ticket yet…
Twisted, can you at least keep us up to date with ticket sales this time please so that they don’t just suddenly sell out with no warning as they did last time? It’s only a small thing to ask, but it would mean the world to a lot of fans!!
and sadly like last time a bunch of ticket scalpers are going to take a large % and try to either get you on ebay or on the street around the round house :(
Too bad too because they don’t care about this type of crowd and some people couldn’t go because they couldn’t afford the mark-up and what didn’t get bought from them just went to waste…

CAN’T COMMIT TO BUYING A TICKET YET!!!!! If you have the money buy a ticket NOW and plan your life around 30/10/09. If you work, that is plenty of time to book days off, if you have travel plans make them for AFTER that date. It’s not rocket science, but then if your life is SOOOOO chaotic don’t buy yet and you may be disappointed. I mean, what is so unclear about the end of October that you CAN’T book now? I suppose it is a question of what else is more important than another chance to see Shpongle live (and an album launch party to boot).

I think you will find lots of people who resold tix last time WERE Shpongle fans who wanted some extra cash, there was a link to eBay on this site after all. I even remember seeing some on eBay being sold under a user name EXACTLY the same as a moderator username on this forum (a name too unusual for it to be someone else). Now if Shpongle had played 2 nights there would have been no problem…..

I wonder who this was? I know it wasn’t myself(I have an unusual username I think) as I bought 2 tickets and used my 2 tickets and overall had a great time.
I did however post a link to ebay for someone to check out buying tickets as they really wanted them badly but it was too expensive for them. Is the link you are on about?
I know for certain it wasn’t me selling them. I sold my afterparty tickets. 2 tickets for exactly the same price I paid for them. But this was on the night, after seeing the queues to get in. I didn’t sell them on ebay. I believe I actually wrote posts about the excessive price rises and was disgusted at how people were doing this.
So of the 3 moderators myself(DiMuTech) Electrobot808(unusual username) and Ray(Not so unusual but unique to this forum)I wonder who you could be on about.

I may be back in latin america working by then, twud be pretty hard to rearrange just to go to shpongle! But you’re right i’m going to buy a ticket anyway (and persuade all my friends to do the same , and if something does come up then i’m sure there’ll be no problem in finding someone else to buy it off me
Still it would be nice to know when the tickets are close to selling out so i can kick any friends up the arse who haven’t already got their tickets! Last time i was supposed to be going with a group of about 20 people, but only 8 of us got tickets in time and everyone else was so gutted to have missed out…
