First time for me to see shpongle live and i think it was awesome! There are few things that could’ve been better. the indian (or bangladeshi i think) dancer was on too long imho - and due to that it got a little boring as me and my friends found. not that he wasnt good, he just took a too big part in the show. And the quality of the music….i personally think it was good, but i had a ticket for a seat, so i wasnt standing in the front, maybe that made a difference. only the singing level sometimes was quite weird, as the level was changing a lot, but i thought that may have been wanted, so then again it was good =)
i really loved that tubey-thing which really blew my mind, still wondering how it works (though it might be easy to understand once you see how it works).
all in all, i loved it, and i would so enjoy shpongle play here in germany, so we wouldn’t have to fly again =)
the afterparty on friday was a little disappointing we thought. the sound was really not good at all, as all the sound from the other areas came through and at certain times you just heard on mashed up noisey-sound that was very disturbing..
still the concert made up for everything and we had a really great weekend.
