I thought they were going to make the dvd out of the upcoming 2009 performances, but now that I see they are making it of the 2008 show, I understand. The power that the Ineffable Mysteries song had at that show is unbeleivable. People came expecting to be Shpongled, and got a whole lot more as the beginning of that song is a mindfuck. I really hope that they keep the sections of No Turn Unstoned that were performed, as it was freaking epic beyond beleif. Ive got the HQ preview of No Turn Unstoned + a recording of Roundhouse ‘08 No Turn Unstoned on a loop on my MP3 right now! matches the epicness of Tea Daze no prob.

i guess it’s too much to hope that they took a multitrack recording and were able to sort out the sound issue with the vocals for this release… either way, will be well worth having

I hope “Shpongle Interlude” is that whole thing about the Auntie in a box that gets trotted around rural Russia, god help you if you pick the wrong hole! I would bet they’ve done some spiffy post-production to the audio btw…

On the Sat night I was standing part of the time by the sound eng’s at the back. I asked the guy who was doing the camera on the Friday night if it was going to be released as a DVD and he said no.

However there was one of the guys monitoring two screens/levels and he said that the audio was being recorded so hopefully there maybe a live album of the show which would be great..

The audio on the current DVD is fine even though people made comments about it after last years show…
