I am excited to hear about Shpongle playing at Wakarusa! I’ve been a fan for quite a few years now. Is this show just going to be Simon Posford DJing or will it be a full band? I’m really hopin for a full performance!

yes, I was also very happy to see that Shpongle will be there, although I’m almost 100% sure it will only be Simon DJing, which will still be cool. Also Ott & Eat Static!! wow I never thought I’d see a festival that had these artists along with bluegrass bands :p

I plan on attending this show more for Shpongle but there as a good chance that Les Claypool and Buckethead, both who i have already seen, will be doing some performing together which will be freaking sweet.

yeah i’ve been to Wakarusa every year and its always an amazing time and a great lineup. Buckethead is one of my favorite musicians and this will be his 3rd year being there. In 2006 he and claypool both made appearances at each others’ sets. i’m also excited to see Secret Chiefs 3, one of my favorite bands of all time. having Shpongle there is just more icing on the cake, but that would’ve been some ridiculously awesome icing if it were the full band.
