I have been thinking about the new tracks released on the live shows—They are very different from the other 3 Albums, well, we know every album is quite differnt from the other.

The first track is amazing! Indian singing intro, nice beats, effected voices and effects. I really like it.

The second one is also OK for me. But not totally happy at the last part of the track.

The third one, it starts cool, girl singing and flute. But at the end, I felt like “It could have been better”

The track I dont like is the fourth, it is pretty much the hang drum, some bass and thats it.

That is what I think about it. (I know the sound is not that good at a live show)

Well, remember that simon said hes only happy with one track, the indian one, and others vary from needing a mix or full re-work.

So, what is your opinion about the new tracks we could hear at live events?

Can’t really say anything about ‘hang drum track’, but the other ones are in my opinion incredibly cool. ‘Walking backwards through the mirror of cosmos’ (is it the first track with indian singing, right?) is one of the best tracks i’ve heard in 2008, ‘I am you’ is great too

The Indian track is unreal and can’t wait for that to appear on the album.

The hang drum track is just beautiful and pray this is on the album, not all tracks have to be complex just listen to the last track on Tales…Flute Fruit, again very simple but does what it needs to do.

The track which has the vocals ‘reality is splitting at the seems is very very good but not sure if the words of the vocals work 100%, again I wouldn’t be disappointed to hear it on the album.

From what I can remember of the other tracks I have no complaints at all, Simon & Raj will select the correct ones and I hope the others appear on a compilation or something…. :D

I was kind of turned off about that too, but everything else ive heard is amazing.

This track I think was done just after the 3rd album and is good, this is the first time I’ve heard it. Not album standard but still nice.

This was played at the gig last year and think it’s a great track - hope it’s on the album

The opening to ‘I Am You’ sounds really Ozricky. Ace track!

The new tracks in the player are stunning, one or two sound like they’ve been re worked…

This is, uh, no offense but… the last album is such a .. nonsense..

I mean.. absolutely..

After first 3 albums I was ready to believe, you, guys, are Gods.. but..

what happened to you, had you run out of drugs or something?

I love the 4th album just as much but due to influence of more live instraments mainly the drums it sounds less synthetic compared to the others and more dirty.

Simon did say that he wanted that kinda ‘low fi’ sound for this album but I also think it reflects the fact that within the past few years he’s being doing more now with other musicians rather that sole projects and working on his own in his studio…

i love the hungdrum. can the lastest 2 albumns be found on vinyl?
