Well, this is one of those albums that every now and then come up above the surface of our planet, providing us magical emotional trips to our inner self outside of reality world.

With a mix of mysterious enigmatic scents and a unique combination of synthetic and organic atmospheres, the London Based Ambient electroacoustic sound artist, producer and multi - instrumentalist James Murray created a beautiful tapestry of secret forests and gardens, hidden behind enchanted paths near the city, filled with crystal colorful sorcery and other life forms activity

To create a strong unique signature sound and style is not an easy thing to do and James managed to do it in an amazing way.

from the 18 Dec 2008, the day I received it from Ultimae I listened to it quite a lot and every time I listened I discovered something new that I didn’t notice before, and this is one of the beautiful things about good ambient downtempo and good music in general.

With intelligent programming, rich and beautiful synth work and just the right dose of acoustic sounds dripping into the mix, James created 9 ethereal cinematic compositions of excellent, sophisticated and gloomy ambient with dazzling moving melodies and deep basslines, groovy brilliant rhythm sound architecture, echoing ambiance and high quality production.

A stunning adventure of new ambient perspectives infused with luminous electronica and unusual downtempo structures. With his wonderful composing and arrangement skills James Murray served us a beautiful album that touches the soul deeply and strongly effects the mind as well.

Amazing debut album that definitely can be called a masterpiece from an artist that must be followed.

Another ambient downtempo futuristic epic from the Ultimae label.

when it comes to Good music I Love it’s very hard for me to say I prefer a certain album over another one because each album I love takes me to different places and touches my soul in different ways.

so,yes I really love ” Movements ” and I think it’s a wonderful album ! like I said before in the Ultimae thread - it’s a ground-breaking ambient downtempo masterpiece in terms of music and production as well.

and for me ” Where Edges Meet ” is also amazing and ground-breaking with its own unique style.

cheers !
