I want to try and get Simon to sign/autograph my Shpongle tat,and then get his name tattooed where he signed it. :shock:

I have a question about this show.  Hopefully somebody who’s seen one of these shows or one of the organizers can reply.

What exactly does it mean “dj set”?  I have heard that SHPONGLE is amazing live, but I think the reports I’m hearing are for a live band playing.  What can I expect at a dj set?  Generally DJ set implies much less lower energy and spontaneity than a live band of four or five humans, each with opportunity to provide expression to each element.

However, a DJ set can still be good, and I’m not knocking it outright.  Just wondering….

Is there a performance art aspect, or some other hijinks planned?  Can someone who has seen one of these Shpongle DJ sets give me a report or point me to one? Or better yet someone who has seen Shpongle ‘the band’ play versus Shpongle the ‘the dj’ play?

I’m asking because I REALLY want to see a show this summer, and really I only have resources for one show, and it will be special and probably this summer’s main psychedelic sacrament.

I want to be sure this is the one. 

Any help appreciated.

This show was OFF THE FUCKIN HOOK!!!!!! Phutureprimitive came out and did an amazing set but Shpongle gave us all a night to remember… the dancers were amazing, music sounded incredible and new tracks all sound like they are going to be fantastic!!! If anyone has photos from this please post a link.

Yes! the show was awesome, the new tracks were incredible. Big thanks to Simon, PhuturePrimitive, the dancers, the whole crew you guys put on a really quality show, I’ve been waiting a really long time for this, and it was perfect. Please come up to the northwest more often!
