The full band met again at the studio owned by legendary producer Flood in rainy Willesden in North London in November 08, where they started recording the third as yet unnamed Younger Brother album which will hopefully be released on Twisted Records in Spring 2009.
Spring 2009 would be now, if I’m not mistaken Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying “OMG IT’S TIME, YOU BETTER RELEASE IT NOW OR ELSE…!!!11”, I’m just asking for an update or just… anything. I’m actually a bit surprised to not see any discussion at all about this. Maybe because there is nothing to discuss since all we have is a vague release date and a youtube video, but still. So, anyone know anything at all?

Maybe this has taken up time so they have to get back to the YB stuff when they have time.

A few weeks ago, their MySpace status said they had “4 new YB track complete”.
Last week the Shpongle MS status said “Working on more YB this week, we’ll be doing more shpongle next week”
Conceivably, they could have all their new tracks completed in the next 3 months or so.
Then comes mastering, artwork, followed by album delays. So we’re probably looking at a 2011 release.
we’ve been working on the album since end of feb having done 2 weeks recording with the band in november last year…. we’ve got 4 tracks done and another couple on the way….hope we’ll have it done by the end of the summker but dont set ya watch to it!

Excellent. Well, not so excellent to hear that it’s gonna be end of summer (as I’m typing this, I’m setting my watch to alert me at midnight of the last day of summer so I can go to London and firebomb the Twisted headquarters if the album is not out by then by the way ), but it’s nice to get an update.
Hmm… you must be a little new to Twisted, so here’s a little tested equation to determine an actual twisted release date (Anounced date = A, Actual release = R, unit = years)
R = A + 10

Alright, failing baiting you to the sunny old Isle Of Man please may you do some Younger Brother concerts in England? We were quite excited about Amsterdam…we could go there to see you, that might be quite fun.
