Bought the ltd edition clear vinyl of Are You Shpongled a week or two ago, but it (and my copy of Nothing Lasts) both clicked at the beginning of track one, in the same place every time as the record went round. I brushed them gently with a carbon fibre record brush but it still happened, so I sent them back. This was with a brand new (literally, that day) Project Debut III turntable, and the other albums I got at the same time, Younger Brother and Tales both played perfectly.
Got them back from Twisted today, Nothing Lasts is now fine but Are you Shpongled is still clicking in exactly the same place as when I sent it back. Only thing I can think of is that they must have mistakenly sent me the same records back again, but just thought I better check here and ask anyone else who’s bought it if it clicks at the start of ‘And the day turned to night’, just in case its a problem with the pressing… I seriously doubt this, but would be interested to know if anyone else had a problem with theirs..
