I dunno if anyone would bother..
But what’s really amazing while listening to OTT’s songs is if you know the Indian languages like Hindi or Punjabi.
Like, I can understand most of the lyrics in Rogue Bagel and Smoked Glass and Chrome
The male voice in “Rogue Bagel” is in Punjabi, while the female voice is in some South Indian language.
What the male singer basically saying is, “Live on my dear fellow, even if you live for someone else. Sometimes you might’ve felt this. Live on my dear fellow, “ then something incomprehensible, i think after that he says, “we see the world infront of us”.
then he says things about how “he loves seeing his lover and wants the whole world to be blinded by their love.” It is sung very poetically. and then followed by the south Indian female voice singing.
Personally I find it somewhat ‘odd’ that two different languages of very different culture are combined, but it still sounds brilliant.
Smoked Glass and Chrome has similar thing going on, it has mixed Hindi and some south Indian language.
It starts off in Hindi, with the voice saying, “Come with me my love, I’ll take you to the stars (‘sitaaron’ = stars)” repeated 4 times. Then the South Indian voice takes over (again, I find it sort of odd).
Now some words sound very similar in these languages, and they mean same thing.
For example, from 2:16 - 2:30, she says something about the cosmos, and raining of something.
2:30 - 2:40, the words ‘phoolon ki maala’ means “necklace of flowers”, (where phoolon = flowers, maala = necklace) repeated twice.
3:11 - 3:38 is in Hindi again, where she says, ”[My] Heart ‘swings into groove [referring to groove of music]’ like this, take me to the beautiful wilderness” repeated 4 times.
Then 3:38 - 4:07 are same as 2:15 - 2:40
These vocals are from a very old Hindi song. It is also remixed in the song “Punjab” by Karunesh.

My parents, who’ve heard the original song[s], says that he screwed up the whole song by remixing it, because half way through the song, the lines are displaced by another Punjabi song and it changes the meaning. lol and they totally love the original versions, both Hindi and Punjabi songs.
I hope i can find them somewhere.. many artists have used those vocals.
