I only know a tiny bit of Portuguese so I can’t help you much here… I am pretty sure the word ‘beija flor’ is in there somewhere, which translates literally to ‘flower kisser,’ but it’s the term for a hummingbird smile.

If you have any success, please do share. I would be really interested to hear what the translation comes out to.

I would love Brazil, if I wasn’t kicked out ....  looked, pretty though…....

What on earth did you do to get kicked outta Brazil? I am guessing this has to do with drugs, because they are some damn friendly people over there…

Beija-flor (“Hummingbird” in Portuguese)

I always thought Beija Flor meant “Kiss of the flower”?

I was told it literally translates to “flower kisser”... when I traveled with my uncle who speaks Portuguese this last summer in Brazil, there was a restaurant called Beija-Flor in one of the small towns we stayed in, which he told me translated to flower kisser, but was used as the term for hummingbirds. It immediately caught my attention as one of the promos for Nothing Lasts… which consisted of the first few tracks from the album is titled ‘Beija-Flor’, and I’m sure refers to the lyrics in Levitation Nation.

Plus it makes more sense for Shpongle to make a reference to a “flower kisser” than a hummingbird

I didn’t do the translation myself, I copied it from lyricwiki.org, but I agree that “flower-kisser” does make more sense .

“Oh, my Brazil!

A love overdose you bring to us.

Mirroring the family “Humming bird”.

Fighting eternally for peace!”
